I can finally take a breath!!

I can't believe how fast this week has gone by. It has been one of the craziest weeks I have had in awhile and at this point I am glad that I don't have kids yet(I am going to regret saying this later). It makes me really appreciate my mom a lot more. I never knew or even thought I knew what it was going to be like to try and juggle 5 kids and work a full time job. For instance, today is Saturday. Usually when Matt isn't going to be home I will just eat a late lunch and then skip dinner, well today I came home to 5 starving kids...and I thought to myself...I guess these kids have to eat huh?? Who knew. Anyways, all in all this week has been amazing. The kids have been great and luckily I have a cool boss that let me skip one day when I didn't have a ride for Michael and then the rest of the week let me work shorter shifts so that I could be home with the kids. It sure is nice to be able to sit down and catch my breath. Oh yeah...one other weird thing. I never knew why my mom always felt like she was doing laundry. Well, now I know...but I still think my mom had it worse seeing as she has 6 kids and 2 adults and Steph only has 5 kids. But then at the same time, Melody and Zachary were here so it's like having 7 kids and 2 adults!!!

By the way...Melody is gone, at least until the summer :(
